IKEBANA

I've always wanted to draw IKEBANA in Illustrator because my grandma is a teacher of IKEBANA! She creates beautiful arrangements and decorates the entrance of our house to welcome guests and give my family positive energy. Seeing her IKEBANA brightens my day so much. I've been inspired by her and have started to see the importance of color and combinations as well.

She actually makes this IKEBANA with sunflowers, heralding the coming of summer! I love this simple yet dynamic form, using a unique vase shape.

I've created this IKEBANA illustration in a simple style, but using gradients makes the objects stand out by adding a new dimension and realism to the design!

The illustration embodies the minimalistic and simplistic aesthetic of IKEBANA, with clean lines and a restrained color palette with subtle texture. The use of negative space is evident, allowing the flowers and foliage to breathe and providing a sense of calm and balance to the composition. The empty spaces around the floral elements are just as important as the flowers themselves, creating a harmonious interplay between presence and absence.

I paid close attention to detail, rendering each stem and petal with precision, and ensuring that overall arrangement adheres to the principles of harmony and balance.
